Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS)
The PMMS 2020 conference proceedings will be published by IOPscience, a open access Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS), which provides a fast, versatile and cost-effective proceedings publication service.
As a subsidiary of the Institute of Physics, any surplus made by IOP Publishing goes directly to the Institute to assist their mission to help everyone build their knowledge of physics and to provide professional support for physicists. IOP Publishing supports global schemes such as INASP and EIFL to promote the dissemination of and engagement with science in developing and transition countries.

JOURNAL HISTORY

* All proceedings in IOP Conference Series are published as a single volume of the relevant title. Typically, each volume has just a single issue but very large volumes may be split into two or more issues for ease of reading and navigation.
* Papers published in IOP Conference Series titles use an article numbering system that means that papers should be cited by using the six-digit article number in place of a page number.
* Every article has its own unique identifier called a Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
* Articles can be linked via the Crossref system.

Under current policy, Thomson Reuters (the owners of ISI Web of Science) do not calculate Impact Factors for ANY proceedings titles. Therefore, proceedings journals are not issued with Impact Factors.

The ISI Web of Science platform itself is split into two components: SCI (the Science Citation Index) and CPCI (Conference Proceedings Citation Index). Proceedings journals appear within the CPCI. In order to access both, users need to have a full subscription to ISI Web of Science. However, those subscribing only to the SCI component will not have access to proceedings papers.
